Christmas Candy Recipes

We have arrived at the ultimate section of our series on Christmas candy recipes. Hope you have enjoyed my previous recipes on caramel popcorn and difficult candy up to now. We will look at Peanut Patties now to complete your candy menu. Much like popcorn and hard candy, peanut patties was chosen for its easy preparation and yet delicious sweet taste. Without further ado, here's what you have to do:

The 1st step - Lay a Cookie Tray

Prepare a cookie tray and lay some cookie sheets or baking paper about that. Grease the surface a little with the help of some oil. This can be needless to say, to prevent your peanut melts from sticking to the surface since it is impossible to get rid of once it does.

Step Two - Heating

Create a blend of 2 cups sugar, 1 cup water, and cup corn syrup in the glass bowl. You should always be using glass and not plastic as we will point it into the microwave soon. Stir a combination until it blends then place into the microwave for heating. Observe the mixture and take off it in the oven once it boils

Step Three - Roasting

Add it in approximately 1 servings of crushed peanuts. Put it in to the micro wave again and hang up it to a temperature of approximately 240 Fahrenheit. Verify when the mixture is prepared by transferring a drop into regular faucet water. When it solidifies a little into a roundish ball like shape, after that you can switch off the warmth and remove in the oven.

Step Four - Add Flavorings

The ultimate step is always to create some flavour for the patties. Give a few drops of food coloring (your own personal discretion), 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1 teaspoon of butter. Stir hard and well until it settles right into a nice foamy layer. Leave it to cool completely and prepare for serving!
